Educator Workshops
Media Minded Project offers virtual workshops throughout the school year, along with summer sessions available in both virtual and in‑person formats. Each workshop is grounded in media literacy, AI literacy, digital citizenship, and instructional technology integration, giving educators practical strategies.
What Does a Workshop Look Like?
Participants can expect engaging sessions that blend practical strategies with hands‑on exploration. For example, each workshop begins with a brief warm‑up activity that surfaces current experiences with media, AI, or digital tools. Then, we move into focused mini‑lessons, real classroom examples, and short demonstrations that make complex concepts feel accessible.
Educators spend most of the session actively working such as analyzing media, experimenting with AI tools, evaluating digital citizenship scenarios, and/or designing instructional routines. Collaboration time is essential, giving teachers time to share ideas, compare approaches, and reflect on their practice.
Participants leave with ready‑to‑use strategies, lesson and resource templates, and next steps tailored to the district’s goals. Sessions are flexible, customizable, and designed to meet educators where they are.
